Lil Button’s off to school…

This week is the first week of school for our little Isabella!  She is starting at the Kindergarden here in Managua that both Mason & Aliyah went to.  I know all other parents have this experience, but man it is always a little sad sending them off that first day 🙂  Our lil’ button was so cute.  She really did good.  She actually visited with Mason a few times last year, so it is familiar.  But now she is all on her own because Mason & Aliyah are home schooling with mommy.

It is a great school, it is a good safe environment and the best part is that almost all of the teaching is in Spanish.  This has been great to help Aliyah & Mason learn Spanish as well as get all the basics of math and reading.  We hope the same for Bella.

Button is Isabella’s nickname from her Aunt Hazel…Isabella -> Bella -> Belly Button -> Button…it fits her!  We are very thankful for our children and love that the Lord is allowing us to give them good opportunities even though we live far from home.

Isabella already has a friend at school….guess her name?  Isabella too 🙂

We appreciate your continued prayers for our family!

  1. So glad to hear everything is going well with you guys! Chris and I are sorry we missed you when you were in the states, but we think of you guys often! Hopefully we’ll see you sooner rather than later! 🙂

  2. Dear Cha chi, I would like to know the number of girls at the Casa Havaillah?our sewing group would like to make the girls sun dresses. ! we need to know sizes and ages if possible. We visited your wonderful compound., are part of the Cape Charles Baptist Church. Also, if there needs to be additional dresses for any of the girls at the Villa we would be happy to do this.
