Open Hearts International Children's Relief Mission
Ok before moving on to next year…first, a HUGE celebration of all God did last year at Club Esperanza! I love the photo of our youngest graduates heading into elementary school! Through the Club last year we provided full time education to over 270 children, high school and university scholarships to over 200 young adults, over 140,000 meals, care of children with disabilities in our “Juntos Para Inclusion” program, provided care and support of pregnant and nursing mothers, started a new program called “estimulacion temprana” for babies and infants, hosted Lacrosse the Nations teaching the sport of Lacrosse in Nicaragua, and most importantly we surrounded these children with the Truth of Jesus Christ and God’s uncalcuable Love for them! Oh yeah and let us not forget a Giant Christmas Party to end the Year!!! Please keep up with all the fun pictures and activities on the Club’s Facebook Page.
THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF THIS WITH US!!!
Ok now help me move on to this coming year as we prepare for the school year! This blog post in particular is to ask you for you help. Isn’t it sad to see Piglet in such a sad state! Ok I am joking a little bit but those of you who work with children know that a school year brings many little hands and little desks and the paint job gets destroyed! Some of you I am sure have a heart for decor and things looking beautiful…maybe you can help us make the school look beautiful for the coming school year!!!
We did the leg work and are going to go with the top quality paint we can find in Nicaragua at Sherwin Williams (about $40 a gallon). We need to buy 35 gallons to paint all five classrooms, offices, the dining hall, and the outside of our main buildings…can’t you see how sad it looks, ok I am being a little heavy handed. But I think you get the picture!
If you would like to DONATE towards painting the school before the kiddos come back to class…
TOTAL COST of the Paint and Supplies: $1,484.72
One of the reasons that we make as many efforts as we can to keep the school beautiful is because of all the hardships the children and families we serve experience just outside the walls of Club Espernaza. As you can see in the photo below just out our front gates the roads have open sewage and there is so much ugliness all around. So, we want the inside of Club Esperanza to be BEAUTIFUL! Thank you friends for supporting this great work and for keeping Club Esperanza in your continued prayers! 2026 is going to be a great and beautiful year, Praise the Lord!
