Miami Visit….super delayed blog :)

    Since being back in Nicaragua it has been full throttle with year end activities, beginning of year activities and Elizabeth & Chris’s wedding.  I realized we never got to reflect on the awesome time we had in Miami visiting my family, and the trip we took to Tallahassee to visit Krista’s family.  It was a great time to be with family that we love and miss, friends that we love and miss and church family that we love and miss!  It was a great trip!!!

First we drove up to Tallahassee and visited Krista’s family in town and where she grew up in Wakeenah.  We also ran around on FSU’s campus some…my alma mater!  We visited Trinity Community Church and our church family there which was such a blessing too.

Then we went up to the Georgia mountains with my family to Mema’s cabin and we celebrated Thanksgiving there….it was soooo much fun!  In case you were wondering you don’t need snow to sled, just cardboard boxes and hay….just saying!

On our drive home to Miami from Georgia, thanks to a dear friend in Miami, guess where we stopped for a day…..Disney World!!!  You can’t imagine how crazy this was for our kiddos….they had such an awesome time!  And praise God Mema made the drive with us, cuz we wouldn’t have made it without her!

And then we made it back to Miami and had a great weekend with our friends there and at Mema’s house.  We celebrated Christmas early with my family which was so much fun, we love all our cousins and family…it was such a blessing to be with you all!!!
