Club Esperanza: New Classroom Construction…Can You Help?

Happy New Year friends! In February we will be starting a new school year at Club Esperanza here in Nicaragua. We have a construction project that we are hoping you might be willing to join us in accomplishing. Over the last year we purchased an adjacent property to Club Esperanza and we are in the process of remodeling the existing structures to provide desperately needed classroom space for this coming year! What we will have when the construction is finished is a very large classroom with its own bathroom space. This is our largest priority because we currently have one of our classes that has to meet in the open auditorium space that serves as our dining hall and church on Sundays. This will be a huge blessing and provide a relief for our teachers who serve so faithfully!

The second classroom space will serve as a teachers lounge but also as a space for a new project we will be doing this year to help children at their youngest stages of developement. “Estimulacion Temprano” is a program we are launching this year to reach young at risk mothers who need help with their children from ages two and under. We will provide support and guidance for them, but also train them in the best ways to stimulate growth and early learning in their babies. We are very excited about this Program!
